On 2nd August we resumed services in church. There is now one Service at 9.30am on Sundays and one at 10.00am on Wednesdays, very similar to each other in their simplicity. You can find the music for this Sunday’s service HERE.
So – if you’re happy to come – welcome back to church! The precautions will be what we’re all getting used to now. Social distancing will be observed, with only two people to each of the available pews (these have been spaced out so some are out of use). People are asked to use hand sanitiser (provided) on entry and wear face coverings; also both doors are kept open for ventilation; and we have single-use service sheets, available from a box so not touched by sidespeople. People are also asked to sign a ‘Track and Trace’ register. Communion is in one part only (no chalice), dropped into your hands so please cup them. We are not at present allowed to sing, so no hymns and no choir, though on Sundays we will have organ music and a recorded psalm and anthem. We’ll also hear the bells again, just four, for a short time, but ringing out the call to worship.
