On 29th January at 8.00pm, the Princess Alice Hospice and All Saints’ Church are co-hosting a ‘Death Café’ in the Orchard Room of the Church Institute.
A chat about death over coffee and cake might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But it could be a way to get people talking about a subject that will affect us all and is often avoided. Death remains a taboo subject for many of us to talk about openly. In our Death Café we hope to bring people together in an informal environment, with no agenda or themes, just a simple, group-directed discussion.
By doing this we aim to empower communities with the knowledge, skills, confidence and support to engage with death, dying and loss, and in doing so help people to make the most of their lives. Join us….
