Posada means ‘inn’ in Mexico and our modern Posada comes from an old Mexican tradition. During the evenings leading up to Christmas Eve our wooden nativity figures of Mary, Joseph and the donkey go to a different house every night. They stay there, a focus for the family to celebrate and pray, each in their own way. Then day they move onwards.
This year the rota filled up fast, and the expectant couple are now on their way.
