A retired banker, Dennis is married with three daughters and now eight grandchildren.  He and his wife have lived in Banstead since 1998.

In 2006 he was licensed as a Lay Pastoral Assistant, and has particular experience in counselling (drugs and alcohol) and Spiritual Direction.
